Step-by-Step: How to Install

- Select the Manage Pathways button from the Issuer detail page. Alternatively, you may use the Apps menu in Badgr to connect to Pathways.
- A new window will open to the Pathways app. If you are prompted to log in or authorize, please do so.
- Once logged in, you will be taken to the "My Issuers" area in the Pathways app.
- Select the issuer that manages the pathway you wish to add to your course.

Troubleshooting
There are a few error messages you may encounter if the LTI app is not added correctly.
2. If the Config URL is used in the Secure Tool URL, you will see this Unexpected Server Error.
2. If the consumer key and secret are incorrect or entered in the wrong fields, "Loading Pathways..." will be displayed but will not produce any results.
Moodle Push to Backpack on Non-US servers
Moodle's push to backpack feature, which automatically uploads Moodle badges into the user's Badgr backpack, does not currently support non-US servers (
Selecting a Badgr Server Location). Here are some options we currently recommend to non-US users.
- Teachers use a US Badgr account, and request that students create US server accounts using login URL https://badgr.com/auth/login.
- Students create a Badgr account in their home server (EU, AU, CA) and manually upload badges. These articles will help students with the process: Uploading non-Badgr Badges, Transferring badges to an account on a different server.
- Modify the Moodle database table to reflect your home server following the notes in this Moodle support thread link: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-66585 Note, this option may cease to work when Moodle makes a code update.
We also strongly recommend that users visit, comment, and upvote the above Moodle support article to let Moodle know you wish to see them support Badgr on non-US servers.
