Problem
When attempting to use Badgr for the first time in Canvas, a user is presented with the error message, "your session has expired, please refresh."

Solution
Typically, this error is caused by an unverified email of a Badgr user attempting to access the Badgr app in Canvas.

This can be resolved with a few simple steps.
  1. Sign in to Badgr with the same email address used in Canvas.
  2. If your email address is not verified, Badgr will notify you that a verification email was resent.
  3. Be sure to follow the link in the verification email to gain access to your Badgr account
  4. If you do not get a verification email, contact support@badgr.com.
